"Quick Buckwheat Cakes"
Ingredients | | 3/4 | cup | flour, buckwheat | | 3/4 | cup | flour, white | | 3 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | | 1 3/4 | cup | milk | | 3/4 | teaspoon | salt | | 1 | each | egg | | 3 | tablespoon | shortening, melted | | | | | | Directions:
| Sift dry ingredients. Mix egg, milk and shortening and add to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Fry in lightly greased grill.
