General
Two ways actually, at our Sunday service, and on our telephone prayer network. When you go in the back of the sanctuary, you’ll see a table to your immediate left. Please place your name, or the name of the person to be prayed for, under the appropriate prayer category. In the past we have had a very active youth group and certainly expect to again. Right now we are looking for someone with leadership skills who is excellent working with children to step up and take the role of Youth Group Leader. This would be an unpaid but most vital role in the church life of our youth. If you feel you’d like to do this, please contact us using the form on the page or speak with the pastor.
Music
Our congregation sings from the Presbyterian Hymnal which contains both tradition and contemporary hymns. Our choir sings mostly traditional christian music. Our handbell choir plays mostly traditional Christian music. Our church band plays both traditional, pop, and folk music.

Yes, but only with the permission of the pastor.

We would hope you would clean up after your reception to a certain extent, however payment for the services of our sexton is required.
Membership

Communion
No problem. We use bread and grape juice as our communion elements. We do not use wine or any other alcoholic beverage.
Yes, if you believe in Christ, you are welcomed to partake. Children are also encouraged to take communion as long as they have at least a basic understanding of the significance of doing so. Once a year the youth of the church prepare and bake the bread for the service.
Baptism
No, but it is encouraged.

Building Use
You can park on the road in front of the church and, providing there is no funeral at the time, in the Lawrence Funeral Home parking lot behind the church. Please note that the road in front of the church becomes a one way street during services.

All outside groups are expected to have their own insurance as only activities sanctioned by the church are covered by the church’s insurance.
